Every coilover we sell is covered, the claim is handled here at RedShift, and posting your install earns FAPO and RedShift kits an extra year, free.
RedShift-built coilovers — 2 years, extendable to 3
RedShift Street S1, Street Custom, Comp 1W, BC Revalved Comp 1W and 2-Way / 3-Way Remote kits are covered for two years from the date you receive the kit, bumper-to-bumper: every part, hard parts and consumables alike — dampers, springs, spherical bearings, mounts, seals, boots, everything. Coverage is for the original purchaser. Post your install (below) and the coverage extends to three years.
FAPO PF and PS+ coilovers — 1 year, extendable to 2
FAPO kits sold by RedShift carry FAPO’s one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. RedShift handles the claim for you — you deal with us, not an overseas factory. Post your install (below) and the coverage extends to two years.
BC Racing BR Series — 2 years
BC Racing BR Series kits carry BC Racing’s two-year manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, handled through RedShift. Fully rebuildable; every BC part is available separately.
Warranty extension — an extra year, free
Proud of the install? So are we. Add a year to the warranty on any FAPO or RedShift coilover at no cost:
- Take photos or video of your installation or the finished setup.
- Post them publicly on Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, YouTube or TikTok with #RedShiftMotorsports (add #ad or #promotion where local advertising rules require it).
- Send us the post link and your proof of purchase (order number or dealer invoice) through the Contact page — we confirm the extension within 5 working days.
The extension applies to new FAPO and RedShift coilovers bought from RedShift or an authorized RedShift dealer, for the original purchaser, once per product, claimed during the standard warranty period. Posts must remain public. Program terms may be updated over time.
Making a claim
Reach out through the Contact page with your proof of purchase (order number or dealer invoice), the product SKU, clear photos showing the issue (video helps for anything that moves or leaks) and a short description of when it appeared. We review claims within 2 business days and may ask for more detail to pin down the cause. Approved claims are resolved with repair, replacement parts or a replacement product — in most cases nothing has to ship back before we act.
What is not covered
Damage from misuse, accidents, abuse or competition crashes; unauthorized modification or repair; products bought from unauthorized sellers; and damage caused by improper installation, adjustment or maintenance. On FAPO and BC Racing kits, normal wear items (seals, boots, finishes) follow the manufacturer’s standard terms; on RedShift-built kits consumables are covered. Our responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing the product itself — labor, installation, towing and downtime are not covered.
Off-road use only
All FAPO and RedShift coilovers are for off-road use only and may never be installed on vehicles that will be driven on public roads or highways.
Support beyond the warranty
