Our valving. That’s the difference.

The P1 Performance takes the S1 Street hardware and re-valves it in our shop with RedShift-revised street damping — more control of the body without beating you up, the valving that comes from the racing we do. Same 32-way monotube, same full-length height adjustment, same set spring rates, and everything in the box: springs, mounts, height adjusters, tools. Nothing additional to purchase.

Every P1 is valved and assembled at RedShift, so it ships in about 2 weeks when the base kit is in stock. Tick Customize this kit (+$150) on the product page to choose your own front and rear rates on our standard springs; Swift springs (+$380) can be added once the box is ticked. Questions

How fast does it ship?

In-stock kits: S1 Street about 1 week as built (about 2 weeks with the customize box), P1 Performance about 2 weeks, Comp1W and BC Revalved 5–6 weeks. Overseas-stock kits about 10 weeks by ocean freight at no extra charge, or about 4 weeks by air freight (+$300). Custom Build kits (not on our shelf yet) about 8 weeks, with custom-build pricing — see the next question. Every product page shows its live availability.

What is a Custom Build, and why does one kit cost more?

Some applications are not on our shelf. We build those kits one at a time for your car, about 8 weeks, and a one-off build costs us much more than a batch, so a Custom Build kit (S1 Street, P1 Performance or Comp1W) is +$500 per kit on a single order.

Group buys bring the price down. Get 3 or 4 customers together and each pays +$250 per kit; 5 or more and each pays the regular price. Everyone orders separately on the product page and picks the level the group reached under “Custom-build pricing”; we confirm the group with its organizer before the builds start and handle each order on its own. Are these rebuildable?

Yes — every RedShift coilover is rebuildable and every part is available separately, during the warranty and long after. See Parts & Service.

What spring rates can I choose?

As built, the P1 Performance ships with set rates chosen for the car. Tick Customize this kit (+$150) and choose any rate, front and rear, in whole kg/mm — standard springs up to 10 kg/mm, Swift springs (+$380) above that. Not sure? Tell us how you drive and we’ll recommend rates — no charge.

Warranty

RedShift-built kits carry a 2-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, extendable to 3 — every part, hard parts and consumables — for the original purchaser. Add the year at no cost by posting your install with #RedShiftMotorsports (how it works). All RedShift coilovers are for off-road use only.
